My instructor sent me this list of interesting epigrams in programming by Alan J. Perlis. It is a long list of good quotes, some are famous,
A language that doesn’t affect the way you think about programming, is not worth knowing.
some are humorous,
Syntactic sugar causes cancer of the semicolon.
but this one takes the cake for me:
Computer Science is embarrassed by the computer.
Why? Because it is true.
